I found this dress on Pinterest and fell in love, but was so sad to see the $1400 price tag. I kept an eye out for it online and found it used in my size. It's an absolutely beautiful dress, but I found one I like even more. Simply trying to recoup the money I spent.
The original bride who wore this dress ordered it for the below measurements. Based on the Grace Loves Lace's website, I would say this was a small (AUS 10, US 4-6). This is the TRUE Grace Loves Lace Violet dress. Nothing is wrong with it & it has been dry cleaned.
Waist: 26.5 in Hip: 38 in Chest: 34in Under bust: 29 in Shoulder - floor: 134cm total dress length (she and I both are 5'3" and the dress just skims the floor). Cups have been professional sewed in.
Here's the description from the Grace Loves Lace website:
Our Violet dress embodies soft and natural beauty with an angelic undertone. We love that our Violet dress is not your traditional white or ivory, made from the most magical combination of nude/blush soft Italian tulle and unique two-tone ivory/nude stretch cotton lace. The top half of the dress is a striking and flattering shape that gives the illusion of a halter neck. Hand cut lace at the collar bone adds to the love that goes in to making this dress. Tapering down the centre of the back to meet at your natural waist line that is accentuated with a simple clean line satin ribbon. The length of the tulle skirt is designed to skim the floor and the lining is slightly shorter which adds a unique detail and allows you to show off your shoes.
This dress is beautiful and feminine from all angles and is a true favorite for brides of all body shapes and sizes.
We envision Violet with glossy skin and wavy hair, elegant strappy nude heels and flowers in your hair.
